Job Title: Academic Program Associate / STEM Mentor (Physics / Mathematics)

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and student-focused Academic Program Associate / STEM Mentor to support holistic student development beyond classroom teaching. This role combines academic support, mentorship, program coordination, and stakeholder engagement within residential school environments.

​

The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, capable of teaching Physics or Mathematics at the JEE/NEET level, and committed to working with students in rural public school ecosystems.

​

Key Responsibilities

Program Delivery & Student Development

​

Lead non-core academic initiatives including student mentorship, girls in STEM programs, career guidance, and holistic development activities.

​

Organize internal and external examinations, including logistics planning and result compilation.

​

Support students with competitive exam applications such as JEE, NEET, and Olympiads.

​

Academic Support

​

Conduct subject-specific doubt-solving sessions for Physics or Mathematics.

​

Support JEE/NEET Main-level academic preparation in at least one subject.

​

Track, maintain, and analyze student academic performance and feedback data to improve learning outcomes.

​

Stakeholder Engagement

​

Facilitate parent meetings, school orientations, and student progress reviews.

​

Work closely with school management and academic staff to ensure smooth program execution.

​

Provide administrative and operational support to teaching teams.

​

Who We’re Looking For

Educational Qualification

​

B.Sc. / M.Sc. / B.E. / B.Tech graduates with the ability to teach Physics or Mathematics to senior secondary students.

​

Experience

​

Minimum 1 year of JEE/NEET-level teaching or academic support experience (preferred).

​

Language Skills

​

Proficiency in English

​

Proficiency in local/regional language is mandatory

​

Candidate Profile

​

Passion for education and student development

​

Strong communication, mentoring, and relationship management skills

​

Ability to teach JEE/NEET Main-level content in Physics or Mathematics

​

Willingness to relocate and work in rural Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) campuses

​

Female candidates preferred
