Key Responsibilities

● Warehouse Operations Management

○ Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.

○ Ensure smooth material flow and timely order fulfillment.

● Inventory Control & Accuracy

○ Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/WMS systems.

○ Conduct periodic stock audits and physical verification.

○ Investigate and resolve stock variances, shortages, and damages.

● Team Supervision & Workforce Management

○ Lead, allocate, and monitor work of warehouse staff and supervisors.

○ Train team members on SOPs, safety, and operational best practices.

○ Manage attendance, productivity, and discipline of the workforce.

● Process & Efficiency Improvement

○ Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse activities.

○ Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization.

○ Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce costs.

● Dispatch & Logistics Coordination

○ Coordinate with logistics and transport partners for timely dispatch.

○ Ensure proper documentation for inward and outward shipments.

○ Track shipments and address delivery-related issues.

● Safety, Compliance & Housekeeping

○ Ensure adherence to safety norms, statutory regulations, and company policies.

○ Maintain proper housekeeping and safe working conditions.

○ Report and investigate safety incidents or near misses.
